X-Plan: Giving your kids a way out - by Ps Michael Podhaczky

I was recently made aware of an interesting article by a Christ-follower Bert Fulks. I thought that this might be helpful to some parents, teenagers or young adults. It deals with this question that
was asked of a group of teenagers:
“‘How many of you have found yourself in situations where things started happening that you weren’t comfortable with, but you stuck around, mainly because you felt like you didn’t have a way out?’
They all raised their hands. Every single one of them. The main issue was Peer pressure.” (This is quoted from the site mentioned below)

Bert and his family put a strategy into place to try to help their son. This strategy was called the “X-Plan.” Now don’t get me wrong this is not a one plan fits all or the final word on the matter. It is merely a help and a possible “out” in a hard situation that your child, grandchild or another child that you are responsible for can use. The article can be found at:
We all know that it can be an unsafe world out there at times. The children under our care are often out in it.

Can I encourage you to read this article, pray about it, and gauge if it may be helpful in your situation? I am not asking you to agree with me or with everything that this article states, but I simply offer help to you and yours. If you find it helpful, it may also help someone else that you know in a similar situation. So you may want to share the article with them. Why not ask your children or grandchildren to read it and then begin a conversation with them? If this somehow gives just one teenager or young adult a way out of a bad situation, then it may have saved them or even their life.
