Make - by Pastor Michael Podhaczky

Stop for a moment and think about your life; how are things going? Are you rushing from appointment to appointment, person to person, or task to task without giving it much thought? Paul said to the local church in Ephesus,

15 “So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. 16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days” (Eph 5:15-16 NLT).

I read these thoughts the other day and was re-challenged for living my days. I am not sure who wrote this, but it’s challenging. Why not stop and read what they had to say?

“Every minute someone leaves this world behind. We are all in “the line” without knowing it. We never know how many people are before us.

We cannot move to the back of the line.

We cannot step out of the line.

We cannot avoid the line.

So, while we wait in line.

Make moments count.

Make priorities.

Make the time.

Make your gifts known.

Make a nobody feel like a somebody.

Make your voice heard.

Make the small things big.

Make someone smile.

Make the change.

Make love.

Make up.

Make peace.

Make sure to tell your people they are loved.

Make sure to have no regrets.

Make sure you are ready.”[1]

Pause in His presence for a moment and think this over…
